Cape Town-based singer and songwriter, Sarah-Jane Thomas, has just dropped her latest EP titled Smoke About It, showcasing a fusion of R&B, soul, and pop.
Sarah-Jane‘s songwriting reflects relatable themes of love and loss that evoke nostalgia. Sarah-Jane is dedicated to providing a live experience through her music, adding live instrumentation like strings and guitar to her performances. Her EP features producers Soulful Clay, Starbird, and Arianna Carini, with all songs written by Sarah-Jane herself.
Having studied Jazz voice at UCT, Sarah-Jane Thomas has gained popularity over the years for her soulful pop and R&B covers. With more than a decade of experience, she has performed in various settings ranging from weddings to corporate events, and big stages such as K-Day and Grand Arena. Her latest EP, “Smoke About It,” follows the success of her recent single, “Whole Heartedly,” which has been featured on several radio stations and charts across the country.
